Michel Tibayrenc MD, PhD

Michel Tibayrenc has been working with the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD), France since 1977. His field of expertise is genetics and evolution of infectious diseases. He is the founder of the international congress MEEGID (Molecular Epidemiology and Evolutionary Genetics of Infectious Diseases) and the founder and editor-in-chief of the journal Infection, Genetics and Evolution (Elsevier).
